1. What This Website Is

Camp County Criminal History is a private reference site that operates independently of government. It does not keep official criminal files, obtain records on a visitor's behalf, perform an official background check, or submit documents for a user.

Its role is to direct readers to the actual Camp County and Texas custodians, including the Camp County Sheriff, the District Clerk, the County Clerk, the Texas Department of Public Safety Crime Records Division, and the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry. Some pages also connect readers with outside research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

As a condition of access, you agree not to:

• Violate a local, Texas, or federal law through your use of the website
• Stalk, threaten, or harass a person by using information found here
• Use the content to make lending, insurance, employment, or housing decisions
• Enter restricted systems or attempt to obtain access without authorization
• Send bots, scrapers, or other automated collection tools across the pages
• Interfere with website operation or prevent another visitor from gaining access

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

No one may use information obtained here, or through a linked tool, to harass, stalk, intimidate, threaten, or discriminate against another person. Such conduct may also be criminal. This restriction is especially important for the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry. Texas law limits misuse of registry data, and conduct directed at a listed person can carry criminal consequences. Public registry information supports safety awareness; it does not permit vigilante action, employment blacklisting, or housing discrimination.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

Camp County Criminal History is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and produces no background check, credit report, or consumer report. Its advertising partners likewise do not offer tools intended to screen job applicants, assess rental applications, set insurance rates, or evaluate creditworthiness. You must not use information from the website or a linked tool to:

• Make a hiring or termination decision
• Evaluate a prospective renter or housing applicant
• Assess creditworthiness or calculate an insurance premium
• Decide eligibility for a license, permit, or government benefit
• Carry out any other purpose regulated by the FCRA

For a background check needed for one of those purposes, use the proper official process through the Texas Department of Public Safety Crime Records Division or a screening provider that complies with the FCRA.

Website content does not constitute legal advice. General explanations of Camp County records cannot determine how a charge, conviction, warrant, expunction, or nondisclosure rule applies to one person's facts. Seek advice from an attorney licensed in Texas.

6. No Warranties

All website material is offered "as is," without a guarantee that:
