Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
Names or places entered into a search box are sent to the outside company that provides the search function. That provider processes the query and supplies its results. Camp County Criminal History does not keep a separate log or stored copy of those search terms.
Messages and Contact Submissions
When someone sends an email, the message may be retained for the time needed to respond and handle the correspondence. It is not shared beyond the organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
Normal server and analytics logs may receive technical information when a page loads:
- The device's Internet Protocol address
- Browser name and version
- Operating system and device category
- Pages viewed and time spent on them
- The referring website, when supplied
- The time of each request
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small device files that help measure use, such as which pages are visited and where sessions end. Analytics providers may combine those measurements into traffic reports. A browser can block cookies, although some site behavior may then change.

No Criminal-Record Data on File
Camp County Criminal History does not build, host, or sell a personal criminal-record database. It publishes general directions to Camp County sources, including the Sheriff, the District Clerk and County Clerk, the Texas Department of Public Safety Crime Records Division, and the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry. Visitor information is not assembled into a consumer report, and this resource is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside businesses operate the search tools placed on some pages. Their own privacy terms govern a query submitted through those tools, including how long data is kept and whether it is shared. Camp County Criminal History does not control those choices. Review the provider's policy before sending a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Camp County offices, Texas agencies, courts, legal resources, or outside search services. Once a visitor leaves this website, the destination's privacy rules apply. Read those terms before entering personal information.
An advertising provider may use its own systems to measure activity across more than one website. That process is controlled by the provider, not by Camp County Criminal History.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal information is not sold. Limited data can still reach:
- A search company processing a query sent to its tool
- An analytics provider measuring visits and performance
- An advertising network placing content on a page
- A government or law-enforcement body acting under a valid legal demand
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable, commonly used safeguards protect information under the site's control. No internet system can be promised as fully secure, however, and this policy does not guarantee that unauthorized access can never occur.
Users Under 18
This website is intended for adults and does not knowingly seek personal information from a person under 18. Data identified as belonging to a minor will be removed when its presence is brought to the operator's attention.

Texas government records are separately governed by the Texas Public Information Act, while criminal-history dissemination is controlled by Government Code Chapter 411. Those laws do not turn this private resource into a government custodian. Subject to applicable law, a visitor may:
